Micro RC Gearbox
 
This compact gear unit was specially designed for indoor and micro RC ornithopters. It is the same gearbox used in the RC Phoenix kit. The 106:1 gear ratio provides excellent torque and deep, impressive wingstrokes. Easy attachment of wings and fuselage. Instructions are included for a suggested flapping mechanism. The versatile gear unit allows a wide range of ornithopter designs. Now you can design your own electric ornithopters as easily as rubber-powered!

A powerful 7mm coreless motor is included.The motor is intended for 3.7 volt operation, which corresponds to a single lithium-polymer cell. Plantraco RC system is recommended. The gear unit weighs 2.4 grams, and the motor weighs 2.7 grams. The gearbox frame is 40 mm tall, not counting the gears. Made in the USA using fused deposition technology.
